The working title for the next Burzum album is "Thulêan Mysteries" and it has a Thulêan theme. The intention of the album is to be background music for the MYFAROG game session. It might well work for other situations too...
"Det Som Engang Var" (Norwegian for "What Once Was") is Burzum's second studio album, recorded in April 1992. "Det Som..." would come to feature a slightly more polished sound and is often considered as one of the main landmarks in Norwegian Black Metal.
"Burzum / Aske" gathers the self-titled debut, depicting the project's early days with a very raw and primitive approach to Black Metal reminiscent of early Bathory, and an EP whose original cover was a photo of one of the churches burnt down by Varg.
